The ASICS Gel-Lyte III is a model that has earned its reputation from bright, eye-catching colorways. What many forget however, is that this model is also one of the most renowned running silhouettes on the market. Today, we take a look at a new colorway set to drop later this year. This monochromatic pair features a beige mesh and leather upper that is paired with a gum-bottom sole as well as well as a white midsole. This pair is finally finished off with work-boot styled laces for a look that is both clean yet rugged. Check out more images below.

Ronnie Fieg has done it again. The ASICS Gel-Lyte III mastermind has created this Fall’s next blockbuster colorway. Dubbed the “Leather Back”, this pair features black leather on the majority of the upper, reaching from the front of the quarter panel all the way around to the heel. A dark grey suede/nubuck also fills out the remainder of the upper, while a teal-like blue is used to add contrast to this pair. Let us know if this is a pair you plan on copping.

Look close. Closer. Yep, those are Ronnie Fieg’s next killer collaboration. This ASICS Gel-Lyte III, dubbed the “Leatherback,” is finally revealed in the full here. Though draped over by the beautiful Jen Yeager, the sneaks can be seen in their full glory here. Bearing dark grey nubuck on the forefoot and, as the name would suggest, leather over the entire back portion, this sneaker doesn’t yet have a release date, but expect it to draw long lines at Ronnie’s new Kith storefront soon.

Atmos and ASICS collide in new collaborative rendition of the ASICS Gel Lyte III. This particular colorway features suede and mesh draped on the majority of the black upper. A splattered outsole and gold trim add just the right amount of contrast to what would otherwise be a monochromatic pair. This pair will be available starting mid-October.

Following months of begging but sneakerheads everywhere, the much clamored-for “Salmon Toe” ASICS Gel-Lyte III will release. Though no date is known just yet, Ronnie’s Kith store is on the horizon and this sneaker, along with the ”Leatherbacks,” is sure to make a splash.

Mr. Gel-Lyte III’s latest work is jumping off the internet and landing on paper for the next cover of Sneaker Freaker. Ronnie Fieg’s no stranger to the classic ASICS silhouette and we’re all, of course, familiar with his renditions of the sneaker. One of his next releases, the “Salmon Toe,” adorns the cover of the shoe magazine, appearing on the opposite side of the Nike LeBron 9 “Miami” we debuted earlier this week. No release date for the sneakers has been announced just yet.

Ronnie Fieg is opening his Kith retail front with a bang, dropping the much anticipated “Salmon Toe” ASICS Gel-Lyte III lands tomorrow in Brooklyn and online, complete with some extra goodies from Good Wood. Only 72 pairs of this shoe will drop at the grand opening on September 30th at 11 AM EST. The first 40 sold will include the box set and a $200 price tag. The remaining 32 pairs will come with the dog tags and run you $130. Online buyers will have a chance to grab one of the 300 pairs online at KITHNYC.com for $130 at 11 AM EST.

How was your weekend? It probably wasn’t as wild as Ronnie Fieg’s. The constantly collaborating Fieg started his Friday by dropping one of the most anticipated sneakers of the year and opening his own retail store with KITH. It was only a matter of minutes before the limited ASICS Gel-Lyte III and matching jacket sold out, and the story was no different for online shoppers. After Day 1 was one, Ronnie hosted friends and family (kith and kin) at Avenue, bringing the madness to a close with well, more madness. Keep an eye on KITH and Ronnie, as big things are expected out of this new Flatbush front in the near future.
